I enjoy a natural empathy with people. I am the father of two grown up children and I have many years’ experience helping people with a range of emotional issues. I have an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and I work in a professionally supervised manner, adhering to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy code of ethics. I am a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, also working from the Person Centred model of counselling. Part of my diploma was gained in Transactional Analysis. I am also trained in Couples Counselling and Drugs and Alcohol Counselling. In addition, I am a Cruse Bereavement Counsellor and have worked as a Samaritan. I am C.R.B. checked; hold a fully enhanced disclosure certificate and I am fully insured for professional liability. Link to Norman Livermore
