All members of Abacus will ensure that clients are treated with empathy
and respect, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
The wellbeing and safety of clients is paramount.
Members will abide by the code of ethics and working practices laid down
by BACP at all times.
The counsellor will carry out regular reviews with the client as to
progress.
We are committed to deliver high quality therapy at a reasonable fee.

Be prompt for all sessions, whichever method of counselling is chosen.
All clients will be
responsible for the payment of fees unless notice of cancellation
is given 24 hrs before the session is due to commence.
All counselling fees must be paid and cheques cleared, before the
session commences.
Abacus counsellors reserve the right to refer clients to a specialist
counsellor or other organisation as appropriate.
Counsellors reserve the right to end sessions in cases of inappropriate
or abusive behaviour.
