Abacus Counselling Services

Abacus counselling is a south Essex based service, looking to provide a range of modern counselling methods, by using a variety of contact methods. Whether by phone, e-mail, online or face-to-face, trained counsellors are available at a variety of times, to provide support on a range of issues. Please email the information requested on the Evaluation Page to the central contact link, using the link provided.  The information provided will be forwarded to the counsellor who is best suited to meet your needs.  They will then contact you, to negotiate the date and time of session and method of communication.  Information is provided by the links, to explain how to set up your PC for online and e-mail counselling and also how to pay.  Information is also given explaining what counselling is and who the counsellors are. The aim of Abacus Counselling is to provide support that is client centred and as user-friendly as possible, using the most up-to-date methods available.

Abacus Counselling Service is a collective of counsellors.  This means that all members have an equal part to play in the administration and running of the organisation. This enables us to keep our costs to a minimum when working with clients. You only pay for the support of the counsellor, and the hire of the room if you're having face-to-face counselling. All of our counsellors are also supervised by a Chartered Psychologist.
